Health and Safety
Employer health and safety is of paramount importance at Eastplats' operations. Management believes that injuries and accidents can be prevented with the appropriate health and safety measures in place.
To reduce the risk of accidents management has implemented safety and training systems that comply with relevant legislation. Safety rules have been introduced giving clear guidelines on how high-risk tasks should be accomplished. Continued awareness of safety issues provided by management is vital to ensure accident prevention.
